Intuned: the one who’s tapped into what this music sh*t is really about.

To us, being Intuned is about more than making a good song. It’s understanding your craft, knowing what you bring to it, and having enough intention behind your work to keep developing when the moment changes.

Every week, we listen for the artists who are doing just that.

This week, we’re listening to King Beamo.

Beamo’s rise didn’t happen overnight. Before the Victor Victor Worldwide signing, before The New New York mixtape, and before hip-hop legend Tony Yayo crowned him the “New King of New York,” there was an artist developing his ear, his sound, and his identity.

And that development matters.

Beamo is a true hip-hop head. Coming from a musical household, he grew up listening to different genres and developing a relationship with music before he ever had to turn that relationship into a career. That foundation is part of what separates someone who can make a moment from someone who can make music.

In a recent episode of The Real Report with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, that musicality became part of the conversation. The episode touches on Beamo’s development, the influence and advice he received from Pop Smoke and 50 Cent, and the encouragement he got from artists including Cash Cobain and Bay Swag.

Some artists can make one or two records that catch fire. Sustaining that momentum requires something deeper: the ability to keep creating.

His identity is clear, but it’s also distinct. The production is hard and clean without losing its grit. The lows sit where they need to be, giving the records weight without overcrowding them. There’s polish, but it still feels lived-in.

And that’s part of what makes Beamo stand out. He’s not simply making music that fits into a moment; he’s developing a sound that feels like it belongs to him.

So Why “No D*ckriding”?

We chose it as the #1 song on this week’s Intuned Top 10 because it feels like a record that knows exactly what it is — and, more importantly, who it’s for.

At just 1:37, the record doesn’t waste time explaining itself. Even the title tells you where Beamo stands. It’s direct, confident and unapologetic.

The record speaks to people who trust their sauce and their recipe. The ones focused on their bag, their business and their own lane. The ones who know what they bring to the table and don’t need somebody else’s blueprint to validate it.

That’s what makes “No D*ckriding” more than just a fitting title.

It sounds like an artist who has spent time figuring out what belongs to him — and now knows exactly what he’s bringing to the table.

And the confidence is infectious.

Beamo doesn’t sound like he’s asking for permission to enter the room. He’s already in it, taking up space and making you listen.

That confidence isn’t coming out of nowhere, either. It’s the product of an artist who has spent time developing his ear, experimenting, listening to people around him, and ultimately figuring out what he wanted to sound like.

Now, the industry is starting to catch up. The Victor Victor Worldwide signing is a major step, but it doesn’t feel like the beginning of Beamo’s story. It feels like another marker in a progression that’s already been underway.

And that’s ultimately what we’re listening for with Intuned.

Not just the song that catches your attention, but the artist behind it.

The intention. The identity. The ability to make something that feels like them — and make you believe there’s more where that came from.

That’s what made “No D*ckriding” our #1.
