I’m going to be honest with you — I was going through something when I walked into Audiomack on March 6th. But that’s exactly why nights like Current Flow exist. Not just to showcase talent, but to remind you that community is real, music is alive, and sometimes you just need to be in a room with your people.
The Visionaries
This was Current Flow’s second installment, curated by Smoove The Source / the BY.network and sponsored by Wynk. And if you don’t know Smoove — get familiar. Watching her command that room was one of my favorite moments of the night. She didn’t just organize an event, she created an environment. There’s a difference.
The Lineup
-
Rae Stizz: Keeping Trapsoul alive and well — her project Limerence dropped April 10th. Go listen.
-
Jordan Ariel: Self-assured and affirming. Her EP Unserious is out now and it deserves your ears.
-
Heesu: Brought electro-pop energy and previewed a track written, produced, and engineered entirely by women.
-
Amber Lee: Her pen touched me instantly. That girl can SING.
-
Nadine El Roubi: Shifted the gravity in the room with raw lyrics and knocking production. I have footage of people involuntarily bopping their heads and I will be using it as evidence.
The Culture
Shoutout to Trill Manny too — every time I’ve seen him out he’s showing up for women and other artists. It’s a pattern worth noting.
Bites were provided by Waffl Taco. Again, note the way Smoove created an environment for brands and creatives to be seen, experienced, and felt. Definitely Undrgrnd Paparazzi approved.
The Verdict
It’s no surprise Sevyn Magazine called Current Flow a “contender for one of the best events of 2026.” Not because it was flashy, but because it was full. Full of talent, full of intention, full of people who genuinely love music.
The NYC music scene doesn’t get enough credit. These artists, these curators, these rooms — this is where culture actually starts. Undrgrnd Paparazzi is here to make sure you don’t miss it.
Stay tapped in.
